Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. Jiggery Makery....Thinking Ahead

Here I am again..sooner than I thought I would be. My worry is that the wind is getting stronger by the minute and the power may go off again. Anyway here is my design team make for the wonderful company of Jiggery Makery. Time seems to be going by so quickly and before we know it Valentines Day will be I thought it was the perfect time to showcase some of Adeles ladies that seem to me perfect for that special time of the year. The great thing about these ladies is that they are glamorous, fun and a joy to work with. I have to admit to a bit of a passion for strange coloured hair but that's one of the great things with digital can colour them any way you like. Why not pop over to the Jiggery Makery facebook page and take a look at all the ladies. You may find the perfect one to make your Valentines card.

I'm going to head off now before the power goes off and hope that I can dinner cooked. We are having meatloaf, mashed potatoes and sprouts with onion gravy. I may make a pudding but I haven't decided yet. The kittens have made a holy mess..I'd piled a load of rubbish to go out and whilst I've blogged I've noticed that they have had it out all over the floor. Bless them..or words to that
So until next time..take care and happy crafting.

  1. Lovely card. I've just caught up with your blogs & read your sad news.

It's 3 years since my Mum passed away & friends had arranged a meal, not realising it was on the anniversary . I went but my heart wasn't in it & I was fairly quiet as I just wanted to be at home.

I hope you find the strength to go to your friends funeral.
    Take care,
