Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. Left of Center....A Little Sparkle

Todays creation is a design team make for the fabulous team over at Left of Center Creative Challenges. The theme for this weeks challenge is 'Sparkle'. If you don't feel as if you can do sparkle, you can of course go for a LOC theme. All details are on the challenge blog.

We are lucky enough to have been sponsored by the great team over at Shadow Clocksy. The dress that I have chosen to sparkle is one of their designs.

For my creation, I chose to go with my not so hidden love for glitter..lol. It gave me the chance to get all my glitters out..and goodness me I have a collection. I have to hold up my hand to 3 boxes of dry glitter and 2 boxes of wet glitter. That is without counting all my whites and clear glitters...which have their own box. And last night I went into the studio and found a small set of drawers which are all filled with glitter. Even I didn't realise just how many colours I had..lol.The last time Pretty was here he said he couldn't believe just how many colours I had...and that was without these drawers..lol. The way that I look at it...a girl has to have a little fun.

For my dress, I began by colouring it with shades of green and purple. I used my promarkers. I think that my not so hidden goth has arrived with my choice of colours..lol. I had so much fun with this image..and I can honestly say that I would wear this dress. And of course I do believe that everyone needs a little sparkle at Christmas.

Well the coffee is calling and then it will be time to deal with the kittens. As soon as they heard my voice this morning..out they all shot..meowing at me. As soon as I sat down, they all wanted to come on my knee. Nosey is still the bravest and the one with the most confidence and cheek..lol. Bumble the black loves to sit by you and talks away. Gannet is still the most into his food and Fiesty is still not having any of it. I did convince her to look at the milk but she had one lick and walked off in disgust..lol.She will do it when she's ready. The weather here is still a little violent..the wind and the hail has been quite vicious today. I hope that it is being kinder to you. So until next time..take care and happy crafting.
