Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. A Snowflakes Promise...Ringing in Christmas

Todays card is a design team make for A Snowflakes Promise Challenge Blog. This image features Reggie. I just had to use him because of his name and because I thought he was so cute. He has been coloured using my promarkers. Even though you can't see it on the photograph..I have used a glaze pen on the bell and on his boots.Over at the blog, a new challenge has begun, which will run for a fortnight and is the perfect place to enter your Christmas cards..after all the theme is Christmas/Winter creations. I do hope that you will join in the fun. If you get the chance...why not pop over and take a look.

We are lucky enough to have been sponsored by the wonderful team over at Lacy Sunshine. I can't even begin to tell you what a wonderful variety of images that are available.

It's quite chilly here in the mountains today. I have a blanket over my legs and no doubt later on Raven will be sat on my feet. She is a stubborn little thing and if I'm working on the computer, she will sit on my elbow until I lift the computer so that she can sit on my feet..lol. All the kittens are full of life this morning. When I first walked into the parlour they were all playing. They are quickly getting over the kitten wobbles and are now totally firm with their little tails straight up into the air. Fiesty is living up to her name and is just getting into running up and down the pen....bless her.
Well the coffee is calling and I'll be back later with another design team make. So until then..take care and happy crafting.
