Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. Jiggery Makery....A Little Sparkle

This card is a design team make for the fabulous Jiggery Makery. As you know by now I just adore the fabulous glamorous ladies that Adele from Jiggery Makery draws. And here is a christmas pin up. If you get the chance why not pop over to the Jiggery Makery facebook page and take a look at all the other gorgeous ladies that are available. They make the perfect christmas cards for the gentlemen in your life..so much nicer than beer or football. For this card, I have coloured her with my promarkers and of course had to add the glitter....there is nothing better than a little sparkle for Christmas.

So here I am again...coffee in hand..having just having a cat disaster..lol. And of course it had to involve the Jeffrey. I had just sat down with my coffee when Jeffrey decided to make a dash for the window..realising half way through the leap that Pinkie (otherwise known as the grumpy one) was sat on the windowsill. If you have ever seen a cat trying to stop a leap midway through you will understand the chaos that happened. He jumped to the left and managed to take out my daylight lamp. Now it isn't working and he seems to have either broken it or at the very least the bulb. Either way it's a disaster to me..the bulb costs £25 and if I buy one and the lamps broken..that's another £140..oh the antics of these cats..lol.It will take a while for me to decide what to do about the lamp...and as for Jeffrey..he has been trying to cuddle up to me ever since..lol

The rain is coming down sideways..flowing in sheets across the valley. It is always a waste of time to use an umbrella here...the rain never comes down...it's always sideways..so you end up getting wetter under the umbrella than the umbrella itself. The mists keep coming and going and the wind is blowing harder and harder. As I look out of the window I can see that the front garden is now covered in leaves. Definitely a day for crafting.

Well I'm off for yet another coffee. Hopefully I can have this one without another disaster.....lol.I have an absolute pile of work..a lot of colouring...and the perfect weather to stay in and do it. I'm so lucky to work at doing what I love. I hope that the weather is being kind to you wherever you are and that you have a great weekend. Until next time..take care and happy crafting.
