Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. Jiggery Makery...Presents Penny

Todays card is a design team make for the fabulous team at Jiggery Makery. Let me introduce you to Penny. She is a digi created by the wonderful Adele over at Jiggery Makery. I just love her and wanted to do her as a rock and roller. I really enjoyed playing while creating this card. I created the background paper. I remembered that I had bought a stamp featuring a line of music, which I hadn't the first job was to find the I then stamped the image onto some pink card. I then decided to make some 'records' just using some black card and then a beige card for the centres. For Penny herself, I coloured her using my promarkers and then glittered her underskirt, shoes, beltand the top of her dress.I then also decided to add a bit of glitter to the records. There are a real wealth of glamorous ladies over at Jiggery Makery...why not pop over and take a look.

It has been so windy all night and even now is blowing a hooley. The cats have taken a look and all thanks and are now scattered around the house in their special little places.

At the moment, I'm thinking what to do for dinner. It may be quiche, fish pie or even something else. I shall have to talk it over with Sparkle. I also intend to make some muffins for a change. No doubt I will have lots of eager little faces watching me...hoping that something will drop on the
