Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. 31 Days of Halloween....Day 25

I just can't believe that it's day 25 of the 31 days challenge. I've come to the conclusion that I have done more makes than I actually need..I think I got a little carried away..lol. I do admit though to having a face and hair very much like the lady in the photo..will we all have that certain look at the end of the 31 days challenge?I found this quote..I do have a passion for them...and then had a thought..5 of my cats are black and only Pinky has the green eyes...all the rest have gold coloured eyes. Two of the cats are the only ones inside..Raven on my legs and Nicademus on the couch. All the rest are outside...no doubt causing chaos around the village..lol

The image that I've used is from the wonderful team over at The East Wind. I do hope that you will pop over and take a look at the wide variety of images that are available. As well as having a moment there I hope that you are continuing to look at all the others crafters involved in this 31 days challenge. My efforts are so little compared to some of the other ladies wonderful creations. They have made me feel so inspired.

The sun is hidden today behind all the clouds. The air is cold and my blanket is on my legs. The weather is supposed to be on the change..to what, I have no idea. Everywhere I read about the weather, I read that we are supposed to being having a bad winter but who can really tell..lol

Well the coffee is calling and Sparkle has just arrived...he has such perfect timing..lol. I'm off for a caffeine hit and then down to some work. So until tomorrow...take care and happy crafting.
