Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. Left of Center...New Challenge

Todays card is a design team make for the wonderful team over at Left of Center Creative Challenges. A new challenge has just begun and will run for the coming week. The theme for this challenge is 'Bones', but of course you have the option of going LOC. For all the details of that, please check out the LOC blog.
This weeks challenge is being sponsored by the fabulous team over at Lacy Sunshine. I hope that you will find time to pop over to the Lacy Sunshine shop and take a look at all the wonderful images that are available.
I should have been able to blog over the weekend but as usual BT weren't playing fair. You pays your money and get nothing in return. The signal was in and out all the time and I have to say that I gave up and put the computer away. It was either that or throw the whole thing through the window..lol. I did mange to get all my die cutting done..snowflakes,poinsettias,leaves, trees and reindeer..all done. I'm still needing to do some silver bits but are waiting for the silver card to arrive. I do feel a bit like Popeye after all that die cutting..my muscles have certainly had a workout. But I did take it slowly so not to aggravate my hands. Every time my hands began to hurt, I had a little break. So now all the diecuts are separated into their own drawers..the next step will be to put all the poinsettias together and get them glued..that can wait until a slow afternoon. I'm hoping to do some printing done this afternoon..if the printer wants to play.
The cats are all sulking because it's raining. The parlour is littered with furry bodies, each in their own little space. From where I'm sat I can see Rave, Nicademus, Sprout, Milky and Simon. Tankie and Gannie are asleep in the airing cupboard. One of these days I will have the door fixed on the cupboard so they can't get in but I've already moved all bedding from there..so the only things left in there not covered is the cat blankets. No matter how I tried to keep them out..they always found a way and I finally gave up trying to keep them off my sheets..so in the end I moved the sheets. I was fed up with washing all the contents of the airing cupboard..lol.
Well the coffee is calling and then I'll be off to do some printing. I'll have to get into a Christmas zone and decide what cards to begin with. I'll have to make the stamping or printing option. I'll let you know what I decide tomorrow. So until then..take care and happy crafting,
