Decoupage Delights....Vintage Rose

Here I am again. One coffee down and another on the way..lol. Sparkle has just arrived and the kettle is on. This card is a design team make for the wonderful company of Decoupage Delights. I could not resist doing another lady in pink. My next make will be from the animal cd rom, I promise, but this is another from the Marlene, Fashion and Flowers. This cd has been reworked but watch out on the Decoupage Delights for more details. For this card, I'd used the card front as on the cd but also used another of the bonus papers. I just adore these rose papers. I edged this card with some of my glitter peeloffs and have used some card candi as embellishment. One of the reasons that I've been using card candy is because I've been thinking about the price of postage. I can't believe that they're putting the price up yet again. I think that more people would use the royal mail more, if they stopped putting it up so much. I know that now I have to think about size. A lot of my customers are also factoring in the postage when they're thinking of sending cards. I feel so lucky that I am on the design team for Decoupage Delights. As most of you know, I adore all things vintage and a lot of my customers do too. I am firmly fixed in the love of all things Edwardian. I love the large hats, the lace, the overblown roses..anyone would think that I'm really a girly girl but those that really know me would laugh. I do keep telling them that it's about time one of them got married so that I could buy a large hat. I've always argued that being a large lady, I would need a big hat to balance me out..lol One day I know that I'll get to buy one..I may need a mortgage to buy one though..lol Well my next caffeine hit has just arrived..so I'm off to enjoy that. None of the cats have gone out...so chaos is beginning..lol. I've also started to sort out the frames..a big job...but I'll just plod along until it's all done.
