Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. A Snowflakes Promise...The Christmas Cat

Todays card is a design team make for the fabulous A Snowflakes Promise. A new challenge has just begun and will run for the next 2 weeks. As always the theme is Christmas/Winter. I do hope that you will pop over to the challenge blog and take a look at all the wonderful creations made by the other members of the team. And if you have a chance why not join the Snowflakes Promise Facebook page.

For this fortnights challenge, we have been lucky enough to have been sponsored by the fantastic team  over at SLS Lines. The selection of images that they have ready to purchase are amazing. I always get into a flap trying to decide which to use. They are all so inspiring.

I of course had to choose this fabulous cat. She is called Princess Spoiled Cat and even though I have used her to decorate a Christmas card..she would be ideal to use all year round. She just has such a happy expression...just like a cat imagining her christmas dinner. My cat Jeffrey comes to mind..lol
On my card I have layered christmas coloured card and christmas paper. I coloured her with my promarkers and decorated the card with a christmas ribbon.

Well the coffee is calling and I will be back shortly with another design team make. I so enjoy creating for all the teams. I love the fact that they are all so different and I get to work with lots of different craft products. Sparkle has just arrived so I'll definitely get a brew..lol. So until later..take care and happy crafting.
