Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. Jiggery Makery....A Little Green Frou Frou

Today's card is a design team  make for the wonderful Jiggery Makery. I was going to write the blog last night but as first thought..BT were doing a bank holiday special and I just couldn't get online. I had great fun with this Jiggery Makery lady..I just adore deciding on how the dress will be patterned. I coloured the image with my promarkers and used one of my tiny stamps to create a pattern. The way in which Adele from Jiggery Makery has drawn this wonderful lady gives to me the impression that you can almost see the stiffened petticoats underneath. I can almost hear the rustle of the netting. That puts me in mind of a term that is used a lot...frou frou. The word is used to some up an image of all things girly..including layers of lace or netting. In my reading I discovered that the word ..frou frou..was actually created by the author Thomas Hardy..and he created it as a way of describing the sound of ladies silk dresses as they walked past. I found that so wonderful. So to me this Jiggery Makery lady would definitely be a little frou frou.

I hope that you will pop over to the Jiggery Makery face book page and take a look at all the wonderful ladies. I'm sure that you will find one to suit whatever you want to make. For no other reason that you get to play at dress designer..that's enough for me..lol. And while you're there please take a look at all the other creations of the design team.

The sun is shining here in the mountains today. And the sound of a chainsaw echoes round them. I am sat here in my corner with the window open..just enjoying the moments when my neighbour stops chainsawing and stacks his wood..lol. In those quiet moments you can hear birdsong. It is so strange to think that we had snow the other day.

My friend is over in America and has been to see one of his favourite friends, that he always goes to see when he's over there. I thought that I would share the photo with you

Isn't he amazing? I just love peacocks and even love the noise that they make. In quiet places their noise can seem quite other worldly.

Well the coffee is calling and now my next door neighbour has started banging and hammering on the wall..my joy is never ending..lol. So until next time..take care and happy crafting.

Left of Center..............New Challenge

Today's creation is a design team make for the wonderful team over at Left of Center Creative Challenges.A new challenge is set to begin soon today and the theme for this week is Mixed Media. As always you have the choice of going LOC...for all details of this..please check out the LOC blog.
We are so lucky this week to have been sponsored by the great team over at The Goblyn Workshop. Knowing me as you do..you just know that I had to pick this funky cat. He made me smile and looked as if he was having a similar day to the one I was having..lol

For my make, I began with the canvas. I grabbed one of my stencils and randomly inked through it, continuing to turn the stencil as I covered the whole area.I then inked the edges of the canvas with the same green. I then added orange glitter glue in different areas. The cat...I coloured with my promarkers, then cut him out and added him to the canvas. Finally I wrote out the words, inked them, cut them out and added them to the canvas.

The sun has decided to shine today here in the mountains but your guess on how long it will last..lol. Yesterday we had sunshine, rain, hail snow and wind. The other day it snowed for about 10 minutes but they were the biggest snowflakes that I have ever seen. They must have been at least an inch square..I was fascinated..Nosey and I just sat watching them...me because I'd never seen ones so big and him because he'd never seen snow.

I'm still working in the parlour. I have put down the rules to myself that nothing is going into the cupboard until it has been sorted. Last night I even sorted by my chair..in my corner. Now to my left there is only paint boxes, canvases and items to be altered. So if the urge comes upon me..everything is now in place. Everyone says to me oh you don't know what is down there..but I did..so there was nothing forgotten. But one thing did make me smile. About 4 years ago I lost a small mistletoe die..Henry looked for it and so did I...we had the whole corner out. In the end we both came to think that it must have gotten thrown away alongside the waste paper. But last night as I picked up a piece of paper..there it was. The number of times in the last 4 years I have had to clear out by my chair following a long work session, I still can't believe that it has turned up. I had given up hope that I'd even bought the set it belonged to again because I loved this tiny die so much..so now I have two. Blessings indeed..I'm sure Henry was watching and is now probably giggling to himself.

Well the coffee is calling and I will be back later..BT willing of course. I got up early today to do this blog and it is only now that BT has allowed me to get online. The hub has been flashing away until about an hour ago. I'm expecting bad connection simply because it's a bank holiday and all the holiday homers will be up.And as usual there will be nowhere for anyone to park as the second homers get into a twitch if they can't park their four huge cars outside their holiday homes. I shall also be expecting dogs running loose and of course my favourite bank holiday sound..chainsaws..lol. With that in mind..I hope that you all have a great bank holiday. So until next time...take care and happy crafting.

Decoupage Delights.....Vintage Moments

Todays cards are all design team makes for the wonderful company of Decoupage Delights. I think that today seems to be a celebration of large hats. As most of you know, I do have a bit of a thing for hats, especially the Edwardian ones..large and covered with flowers, feathers and all other delicious things. As much as I try to turn my bedroom into an Edwardian bower..the cats are determined to prevent me..lol. I try to turn my dressing table into a collection of silver topped bottle and dishes of jewellery, with flowers at every turn  and then the cats arrive. Flowers and jewellery are carried round the house, bottles and dishes are knocked off and before you know it..everything is on the floor and the dressing table is bare..lol

Little do they know that there are plans afoot. I have had a huge lock put on the door and once the new bed arrives...an actual Edwardian one..they are going to find themselves locked out in the day.
I feel that there will be a lot of sulking cats..lol.

I hope that you will pop over to the Decoupage Delights face book page and take a look at all the cds that are available. It won't be long until the new cd is released..personally I can't wait.
Well the coffee is calling and then it will be time to do some more filling of the new cupboard. I am being very strict with myself and only putting in boxes that have been sorted. This afternoon I'm hoping to sort out the shelves by my chair and what I don't use all the time will be sorted and put in the cupboard. Even though my friend Pretty said he had never seen so much glitter..I have managed to shock myself at the range I have...dry,ultra fine, tinsel, wet...and I think nearly every colour available..lol Just as well that I love the stuff. So until next time..take care and happy crafting.

JB-Crafting Supplies.....Country Chickens

Today's cards are design team makes for the wonderful JB-Crafting Supplies. They showcase this wonderful set of stamps from Hobby Art. The set is called Cockadoodledo .

What I really love about this set is the fact that you can also build a country side image as well as the cockerel, hen and chick. You also get the stamp that enables you to create the chicken wire..which will be so handy in lots of my mixed media work. The chicken wire stamp comes in two different sizes and is really easy to join..so you can make a fence as small or as large as you need. All the sentiments that I have used are also from a Hobby Art set. For both of these cards, I have used my watercolours...but you could use any of your colouring mediums. If you have any of the Hobby Art scenic sets..you could also use them to extend your countryside views. I stamped all the images using my Versafine inkpad..but if I was going to use my promarkers or copics, then I would always use my Memento inkpad.

I had great fun colouring the cockerel. He reminded me of a cockerel that my Grandmother had when I was a little girl. This particular cockerel seemed to me to be enormous and goodness me he had a bad temper. I can remember the fantastic colours that he had...most of all I can remember the sun shining on his tail feathers and the colours contained there. To try and describe it is just too hard but it was a cross between blue and green with all the colours between.I was always fascinated by the colours and always wanted to see him..but he wasn't impressed with little girls and would chase me the length of the yard.If you can imagine a chubby little girl in a flowery dress and wellies running for her life...that was me..lol

The skies are blue and the sun is shining here in the mountains today. I'm trying again to have the window open but I don't know how long it will be before the kittens try it on..lol. At the moment I have Pinkie sat on my legs and she is being a little madam..trying to hang on by a claw. I must look like a human colander some days.

The big news here is that the shelves in the parlour have now been done. Later on there will be a bolt put on the door so that it can even be locked and cat proof. I am so excited..I don't know what to do with myself. I have only been waiting for these shelves for 26 years. It just shows that it does really come to those that wait...lol .Later on I will be sorting everything that needs to go in there...I'm going to take my time..having waited for so long..I want to do it properly.

Well the coffee is calling and then I've a few pieces of work to finish. All that is going round my head is how I want the cupboard..lol. I'm feeling very spoilt today..Sparkle is cooking dinner tonight..so a very easy day for me. So until next time..take care and happy crafting.

Jiggery Makery....Game,Set and Fabulous

Here I am again...with a design team make for the wonderful Jiggery Makery. All this sunshine has made me think of being outside when I was young. My friend and I were members of a tennis club..hard to remember a time when my legs worked properly..lol. I'm sure that the reason we joined was due to all the attractive young men that also went..but we always had a good time. All my memories of that time recall sunny days and chasing the ball about madly on a grass court. What a lifetime ago now. Anyways will those thoughts running through my head, I couldn't resist making this card. Not..I would like to add did I ever look that good in my tennis outfit but it was still fun..lol. Adele, the artist behind all the Jiggery Makery ladies has the knack of making all of them look gorgeous..and they are always a pleasure to work with.

For this make, I began by making a three fold tag card and backed each tag with some backing paper. In the middle I added the tennis star, eating her strawberries and cream..I could do with some of that..lol. The outside panels, I decorated with strawberries and flowers. I coloured the tennis star with my promarkers and finally added the sentiment. As far as this card is concerned, to me, it celebrates a good place in my life and provides lots of many happy memories.

As you can probably guess the sun is still shining here in the mountains. The cats are all stretched out on the studio roof and all the kittens are sulking because I won't let them out..lol. Soon enough they will be big enough and I will have to go through the trauma of letting them through the window into the wide world. And goodness help the village when the tabby terrorists are loose.

Well the coffee is calling again and then I'm going to get the water colours out. I will be sharing all the makes with you all very soon. I hope that you all have a fabulous weekend..I've a pile of work to do..thank goodness and will be back with you all on Monday. So until then...take care and happy crafting.

Left of Center....New Challenge

Today's creations are both design team makes for the wonderful team over at Left of Center Creative Challenges. A new challenge is just about to begin and for this week has the theme of Tall Card Base. I decided to make 2 wall hangings...one featuring a cat..what a surprise..lol..and the other featuring these wonderful flowers.

Both of my makes were coloured with my promarkers and the flower one was embellished with glitter. You could say that I have covered all my favourite things..cats, flowers, glitter and the colour orange..and I loved every minute of  creating them.

The challenge for this week is sponsored by the fabulous team over at Bugaboo Stamps. I do hope that you will pop over and take a look at all the wonderful images that are available there.

The sun is shining here in the mountains today. Most of the cats have gone out..so it is quite peaceful here despite the kittens..lol. Jeffrey has decided to have a sleep in the window and Gannie has joined him. At least they are quiet. Yesterday I saw the funniest thing ever..Simon was in the bathroom with me and he was stood in the bath. He spotted a spider..well he began by growling at it..it was the first time I had heard him growl..and then blow me he ate it. I thought I will now be calling him Simon the Brave and shall have to rent him out to friends who don't like spiders..lol. He was so pleased with himself that now he is keeping check on the bath and lord bless him for doing it. I have thought that everyone has their own special talent and now I know what Simon's is..lol.

Well the coffee is calling and I shall be back later with another design team make. I'm going to try and have the window open...but it all depends on the kittens. I can't believe just how quickly this week has gone...some weeks just go in the blink of an eye and others can feel like a year. I think it's just depends what space your head is in.Mine is shouting need caffeine..lol..so until later..take care and happy crafting.

SLS Lines...New Challenge

Here I am again...for my sins..lol. This canvas is a design team make for the wonderful team over at SLS Lines. A new challenge is set to begin this evening and the theme is Half 'O' Ween..so feel free to make any Halloween creations. The challenge will run for the next month so there is plenty of time to get your entry in. For all details of the challenge, please check the SLS Lines blog. For my make, I decided to work with this wonderful Calavera. Most of you know that I have a bit of a thing for all things Halloween/ Day of the Dead.
For my make, I began by covering the canvas board with some blue acrylic paint. I coloured the lady with my promarkers and then cut her out and added her to the canvas. I finally added the sentiment. This was a great image to colour...I loved the hair and all the details of the face painting.

I keep trying to have the window open..it's a running battle with the kittens..lol. It's open at the moment..Raven is running round the studio roof and having a right time. I have to say that she doesn't run very elegantly..lol As she runs her legs kick out to the side..it's so funny to watch.

Well the coffee is calling again and then it will be time to go down and make dinner. It's fish, potatoes and salad. Easy making for me tonight and then I have a nice pile of work piling up.I waiting for about 4 pieces to come through and then I can be busy all through the weekend. This week seems to have gone really quickly..my pens had better grow wings with the pile that is waiting..lol. So until next time...take care and happy crafting.

Decoupage Delights....Looking Back

Today's cards are all design team makes, made for the wonderful Decoupage Delights. I was looking through my files and decided that today I would share some of the cards that I have made for them previously. The card above is one of my all time favourites and I find myself making many versions of this card. I love using the pinks and roses, lace and pearls.

All the cards above, to me showcase all the things that I love about the Decoupage Delights cdroms. It won't be long until the new cdrom is released and I can't wait. If you get the chance, please pop over to the Decoupage Delights facebook page and take a look at what's available.

I have to admit to feeling really shady at the moment. I have opened the window for the first time this year and I'm just hoping that the kittens don't notice..lol. I don't know where they are in the cottage at the moment..I'm hoping that they are all asleep somewhere. If you had seen the way that they were chasing each other round and round this morning..you couldn't help but laugh. They did get shouted at for knocking all my water colour crayons all over the floor. I've managed to find all but 2..no doubt they will be the ones that I need. They must have run off with those 2. I've just had to shut the window because Simon just noticed that it was open. He is now stood by me complaining that he couldn't go out with the big boys..lol. The truth is that he doesn't have good eyes and will fall off many things for no good reason other than his eyes are off. I knew this was going to be a problem when he was born, so I decided to keep him because I at least know how to deal with him. It's as if he has no peripheral vision..he can be walking on the worktop and will end up falling off..and that's a quite wide thing. He's not good at jumping either. But at least he's loved and I know I can put up with the madness.

Well the coffee is calling and I will be back later with another design team make. I hope that you are having a good day and that the sun is shining with you. According to the weather forecast it's going to turn very cold at the weekend, so make the most of the sunshine if you have some. So until later..take care and happy crafting

A Snowflakes Promise..........New Challenge

Here I am again with my design team makes for the wonderful team over at A Snowflakes Promise Challenge Blog.My first card features this fabulous snail from the first of our sponsors..Cre8tive Hands. I had so much fun with this snail...I patterned her and even added glossy accents to her shell. As far as I can imagine she has her spring time colours on and is ready to be awesome.

My other card for this challenge features this image from our other sponsor Bugaboo Stamps. I thought that this image would make a fabulous Easter card but as it's now after Easter..I made a step away from the chocolate card..lol. That's one thing I needed to do this year. I was lucky to be given lots of chocolate but had to firmly ration myself to a little every day.

I hope that you will pop over to the challenge blog and take a look at all the other creations made by the rest of the team. The new challenge will run for the next fortnight and has a Anything Goes theme.

My hope for a peaceful time just hasn't come to pass. Chaos has reigned in the cottage, thanks to the kittens...as normal..lol. Raven is trying to rule me at the moment. She is demanding to sit between me and the computer. She nearly made me choke on my coffee by knocking the bottom of my cup whilst I was trying to take a drink..lol. No peace for me then.

Well I'm hoping that Sparkle will put the kettle on and then I can continue with my water colouring. I have a number of projects to do but at the moment my mojo has headed off somewhere..lol. I'm hoping that a little more coffee will help. So until tomorrow...when hopefully my mojo has returned...take care and happy crafting

SLS Lines.....Inspiration Post

Today's creation is a design team make for the wonderful team over at SLS Lines. As I said last week ,my projects tend to begin with a thought. And this was no different. As many of you know, I am a bit of a crazy cat lady and I just adore all the cat images available at SLS. As I was looking through the images wondering what to pick, I came across this little chap..Grumpy Cat. It made me giggle because I was looking at one of my cats who is actually called Twinkle and is the most bad tempered cat you could wish to meet..so in that moment the inspiration appeared

For this project, I began by creating the background. I had a piece of grey board which I coloured with my acrylics and then dabbed over the top using my starlight paint. I coloured the cat with my promarkers and then cut him out and added him to the background. I finally added the sentiment. I also added some glossy accents to his eyes.

This whole project has made me laugh because how many times I've seen cats that just don't suit there names. And I can imagine that this featured cat would just hate being called Twinkle..lol

I hope that you will pop over to the etsy shop and take a look at all the wonderful images that are available...and perhaps you will have an inspirational thought of your own...and who knows where it will take you.

The sun is shining here in the mountains today..so all the cats are outside, which leaves me with the kittens. I am hoping that it will soon be going for a nap time..lol. I'm hoping for a little bit of peace today so that I can work on my latest watercolouring project. Kittens and watercolours can drive you insane..paw prints are not what you want in your wet paint..lol

Well the coffee is calling and then I will be back with another design team make..I just need an injection of caffeine..lol. So until later...take care and happy crafting.

JB-Crafting Supplies....Garden Birds

Today's cards are design team makes for the wonderful JB-Crafting Supplies. I have been lucky enough to get to work with this fantastic set of stamps from Hobby Art. This is the garden birds set. For these cards, I stamped the images with my Versafine ink pad and then coloured the images with my Lyra watercolours. So many of my friends are into bird watching..either out and about or just at their own bird tables..so there's lots of scope for making cards for them.

One thing that I want to do is to use the same stamps but make the birds really funky and add a humorous quote...I will have to have a go. On these cards it is exactly the same bird..just coloured differently. On the stamp set itself there are three different birds as well as flowers, branches and leaves. If you should need any crafting supplies..please pop over to Julie at JB-Crafting Supplies..if she doesn't have it, she will source it for you.

The sun is shining here in the mountains and most of the cats are outside. The kittens of course aren't allowed out yet...I don't think the village is ready yet for the tabby terrorists..lol. My friend Sparkle was putting a piece of board up for me and had far more help than he really wanted. Nosey was really happy sorting through Sparkles screws and tools and Simon decided that he didn't want the piece of board where it was placed and proceeded to try and dig the carpet up from underneath. There is never a dull moment here.

Well the coffee is calling and Sparkle has just put the kettle on. I am feeling rather spoilt..lol. I am going to be water colouring this afternoon..a vague landscape to go behind another picture.I'm quite enjoying working with the watercolours at the moment ..it seems ages since I have. I can now smell the coffee..so until tomorrow...take care and happy crafting.

Jiggery Makery..................A little Sparkle

Here I am again..I thought that I'd better do my blogging now before BT start to play up and do away with my internet..lol. This card is a design team make for the wonderful Jiggery Makery. As you know I just adore designing the dresses. For this dress I have coloured it with my promarkers and then with a slightly darker colour, Have stamped a small burst pattern over it. To every center of the bursts I have added a glittered spot. Finally I added a bow to the waist of the dress.I think it's because I have no need of a dress as beautiful as this..I'm more of a wellie and waterproof girl..lol..but I do enjoy dreaming about beautiful dresses. And working for Jiggery Makery allows me to jump into my daydreams.
I hope that you will pop over to the Jiggery Makery facebook page and take a look at all the wonderful ladies. If you have an idea in mind, I'm sure that you will find a lady that you could use. Other members of the design team have created some wonderful projects..I always find them a wonderful source of inspiration.
I am now sitting here with my stairs shining..they are now so clean. How long I wonder will this perfection last. I bet the first cat hair has already fallen..lol Such a nice young man as well..he's so quick at everything...I'd still be fighting with the hoover. But it's done now and will at least look sorted all weekend. I don't know what I'll be doing this weekend as no new work has yet arrived. I have a horrible feeling that it will all arrive in one go and I'll end up with a week of non stop colouring. I have some sewing to do..so if the paperwork doesn't arrive, I may be sewing all weekend.
I have just been downstairs to put some tuna in the fridge and goodness me did I nearly get mugged. Word obviously got out that tuna was on it's way..there were flying bodies coming down the stairs and all sitting there looking pathetic..lol. And of course when I came back upstairs, they thought it was bound to be dinnertime. I am now surrounded by a group of sulking cats. If you could only see the little fat tummies you would be in no doubt of the lies that cats tell..lol
Well the coffee is calling and I think I need a good caffeine hit. Sometimes there is just nothing better than that first mouthfull of the coffee nectar. I have come to believe over the years that I am literally fuelled by caffeine. A gentleman reader asked me the other day if I was actually a caffeine addict..I thought to myself, just ask my friends..they know the need to find coffee for me if I run out. I hope that you all have a fabulous weekend and lots of 'me' time..so until next time..take care and happy crafting.

Left of Center....New Challenge

Today's canvas is a design team make for the wonderful Left of Center Creative Challenges. A new challenge is just about to begin. The theme for this weeks challenge is Spiders..hence the spiders lurking on my canvas. If you cannot bear spiders..and I have many friends who would hate this challenge...then you always have the option to go LOC. For all details of that, please read the guidelines on the LOC blog.

For this months challenge, we are so lucky to have been sponsored by the fabulous team over at Sami Stamps. There are so many wonderful images..it so hard to choose..but in the end I decided on this image of the two foxes.

For this canvas I began by painting the background with my acrylics. I first painted the dark blue sky and added the grasses in black. I then added a cut out moon which was covered with a light gold gilding wax. I then coloured the foxes with my promarkers, cut them out and added them to the canvas. I finally added the  'spiders'. I just loved the calm face on the fox..she is just not bothered..lol. How I wish I could be so calm..I'm just so pleased that my cats love nothing better than chasing and eating them. My bathroom has never been so spider free..lol..I think word has got out in spider communities and they have called a ban on my house.

The weather here in the mountains today just cannot make up it's mind whether to rain or to throw a little sunshine at us. I had the nurse today to take my blood. God bless her..she is so calm..surrounded by the cats who so want to know what she has in her bag, what she is doing and why hasn't she come just to fuss them..lol. Mind you she has managed to put up with me for quite a few years..so she is used to the chaos that reigns in this house.

My cleaner has just arrived..so I can feel virtuous later. He has come to put my rubbish out and to hoover my stairs. Of all the things that I can't do..hoovering the stairs is the worst..I can't balance on the stairs..let alone carry the hoover..so he pops along and it's done in a flash. It's strange when you aren't able to do things..the strangest things get so on your nerves..and with me it's the stairs. And they always need doing because of the animals running up and down all day. Simon the kitten doesn't help..he has a passion for cotton buds..and if he finds any.he will scatter them all over the house..not content with just the upstairs either..they end up everywhere. I keep hiding them in different places and he still manages to find them. All the kittens are now sat all around me because the hoover is on..it's the only time that they're quiet..it's grand..lol.

Well the coffee is calling and then I have some work to catch up on. I will be back later with another design team make. So until then..take care and happy crafting.

Decoupage Delights...Vintage Moment

Today's card is a design team make for the wonderful Decoupage Delights. For this card I have used one of my all time favourite images to use on a mans card. The boy with the train set. This image is due to be on the next cdrom from Decoupage Delights and I can't wait. For some reason this image has provoked such a response from some of my customers. I was lucky enough to be able to work with this image before the release of the cd and goodness me..if this is anything to go by..the cd should be a best seller. For this card I was asked to do a collage type card featuring the things that a gentleman loved as a boy. So I went on a hunt through my collection of vintage style things in my stash and managed to come up with this card. The extras include, the cover of a book and small picture of a bird because when he was younger he loved bird watching. The image of the train set..because he still has one, alongside lots of other pieces of ephemera.

If you get the chance, please pop over to the Decoupage Delights face book page and take a look. There is very often great deals on the page featuring cds, downloads or freebies. It's well worth taking a look. And watch out for the due date on the upcoming cdrom.

The sun is shining here in the mountains and the cottage is nearly empty of cats..lol. It's still noisy though..the kittens are not allowed out yet. My friend has just visited and they wouldn't leave her alone..lol. She was amazed just how large they have become. Actually she is the lady that has had their mother, Flossie. It turns out that Flossie has now become Queen of her new domain and is having a wonderful time. She gets exactly what she wants...which I have been told cuddles at 6a.m. And she has turned out to be a fussy madam..only eating what she fancies..and having lots of little treats. I couldn't have wished for a better home for her.

Well the coffee is calling and then I'm off to make a pansy fan using a stamp which has been missing for about 2 years. I found the stamp when I was looking for my inks and micas...but I still haven't found them..lol. At the moment the parlour still looks as if it's been stirred with a stick..but at least I know it will be better in the next couple of days. And hopefully my new bed will be arriving. So lots of moving round will be going on...and no doubt the kittens will be helping..lol. So until next time...take care and happy crafting.

JB-Crafting Supplies....Pinflair Kits

Today's creations are design team makes for the wonderful JB-Crafting Supplies. For the team over the past few weeks, I have been lucky enough to be able to work with some of the Pinflair Kits that are available from Julie at JB-CS.

All of the kits, take only an afternoon to make. What I find really nice is that you can pick whatever fabric you would like to use to coordinate with your own taste. And Julie has a wonderful selection of fabrics...so good in fact..I never know which I want to work with first..choosing is just so hard..lol.

This weeks make is the tissue box cover..which I covered with this fantastic strawberry fabric. If you pop over to the JB-Crafting Supplies Blog..I have blogged each kit, step by step. Each kit comes with full instructions but sometimes it's easier to see what is supposed to happen..and if I think that I can add anything useful..I do.

The sun is shining here in the mountains..but goodness knows how long it will last..lol. All is very quiet in the cottage as well..all the cats have gone to sleep. I am tempted to go and wake them all..just to make them feel as I do in the middle of the night when they bounce on me..lol. When I go to bed at night I am finding Nosey is all ready and waiting. It seems to me that he eats his supper and then then toddles along to bed.He has such a rapture whenever I turn up..it does make me smile.

Well the coffee is calling as normal and then I have some cards to finish. I have just spied Gannie who is stretched fully out, asleep, on the couch. All the kittens are growing so quickly..I will take some new photos this week, so you can see. So until next time..take care and happy crafting.
