Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. A Snowflakes Promise....Cats in a Pile

Today's card is a design team make for the fabulous team over at a Snowflakes Promise Challenge Blog. As with every challenge, this is the place to enter your Christmas cards and makes. There is also a facebook page.

A new challenge has just begun and will run for the next fortnight. This challenge we have been so lucky to have been sponsored by the wonderful team over at Eureka Stamps. It's so worth going over and taking a look at what they have for sale. There is some wonderful inspiration.

For my card, I have coloured my digi...which is called Cat.r.Pilla...with my promarkers. I then went over the lights with my glossy accents. I also added some tinsel flake glitter. I mounted the image onto some red card and added that to a card which I had layered some Christmas paper onto some more red card. I added a small border to which I added a little string of lights. I also added a greeting.

The weather here is just about normal...it's raining..lol. All the cats have decided to stay in..they have all found themselves cosy places to lie and seem to have settled in for the day. At the moment I have Jeffrey lay on my legs and he is about to be moved, as there is a lot of weight contained in that one cat..lol.

Well the coffee is calling and I've lots to do. My most hated thing to do today is pay my bill for BT. Their service is so bad..every time I do pay them, I'm feeling angry because what we all have to pay for in this village. No advice, no help just the worst service in Britain. They always say that things will be so much better once we get super fibre..ignoring the fact that we've paid over the odds for the worst service. But enough moaning from me..the upcoming caffeine will no doubt help my mood..lol. So until next time...take care and happy crafting.
