Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. Jiggery Makery..presents Denise

Todays card is a design team make for the wonderful Jiggery Makery. For this week I was lucky enough to pick which one of the ladies I got to work with. So I chose Denise. As I said last time she looks as if she is so happy with the place that she's at. And after speaking to a couple of friends..it seems as if Italy is the place to go. So in my head...and I admit that it's a strange place to be....lol...Denise is dreaming of being in Italy. This would be the perfect a perfect card to send to either of them...they are both counting the days to their holidays. I coloured Denise with my promarkers and added her to the card. All the papers that I've used come from my stash, as do the embellishments. For Denise and all the other wonderful girls why not pop over to the Jiggery Makery store. You will find one to work with any card project you have the idea to make.

As you will probably notice..I'm very late in posting today. Let's all thank the wonderful company of BT. My internet has been on and off like a yoyo and I think that on Monday, I will be on the telephone yet again...moaning as only I can do. The last time I spoke to them, they told me that because of where I live...I'm at the end of the line and have one of the worst speeds she had ever seen. I thought to myself..don't tell me ..just fix it..but here we go again.

Well the coffee is calling and I'm a little scared that if I don't blog now, I may never get the chance. So hopefully until tomorrow...take care and happy crafting.

Decoupage Delights...Oh for that hat!

`Todays card is a design team make for the wonderful company of Decoupage Delights. This has to be one of my favourite images from their 8x8 collection on their forthcoming vintage cd. The whole image has been decoupaged and it really is a lovely gentle image. For embellishment I have used some diecut rose leaves and trailing ivy. I cut them all in white and then coloured them with my promarkers. The rose embellishments are fabric ones that I also coloured to match in with the design. I just love the large floral hat in the image..I keep waiting for someone to get married so that I can have a good reason to buy one...lol.

The weather here in the mountains has taken a turn for the worse and it's now blowing a hooley and tipping it down. All the cats are sat around me, looking out of the window thinking that they're not going out...I have to say that I do feel a little crowded..there are 6 just sitting on the wings of my chair..lol. My friend came in the other night when they were all sat in a similar way and said 'Oh my God..it looks like something from an Alfred Hitchcock movie'..lol. Jeffrey is still not very well and is now being hounded by the magpies. When he first went out this morning..they arrived in the tree in the front garden and were both complaining at him. It scared him to death and he ran back in again. He then waited until they had left until he braved the outside world again. I hope that he has learnt his lesson. To be fair to the magpies..it was only because they are nesting and who can blame them for protecting their nest. They are just so brave..and it seems that they are also very clever..to follow him home.

Well the coffee is calling and I have a lot of wet canvases which I will have to put somewhere out of the cats way...too many of my canvases are decorated with paw prints..lol. So until tomorrow..take care and happy crafting.

JB-Crafting...Shall I kiss him ?

Todays card is a design team make for the wonderful JB-Crafting Supplies. I have been lucky enough to work with this fabulous stamp from Nellie Snellen this month. I am loving working with it because the varieties are endless. You could colour the fairy to match a friends favourite colour..I decided for this card to use my golden/orange tones and then I found a flower that matched in my stash. For this full card and more please pop over to the JB-Crafting Supplies blog page. If you ever need any crafting supplies or even sewing stuff..you must pop over and look what's available from Julie. I am in love with some of her fabrics..there is a particular one with owls on that just might have to fly it's way here...lol.

I've been organising all weekend..I can't say that any where looks any tidier but at least I know where everything is. There is still the large cupboard to do..but I may need a tablet before I begin that. Over the weekend I've had some wonderful news..which I will be sharing with you all, over the next few weeks. Crafting has bought nothing but joy into my life. It has been my escape route when life has become hard and has been a way of expressing myself, when I can't find the words. There is nothing better than spending a couple of hours with my inks and paints..I have to say that at the end both myself and the cats are all covered in everything and we may just be glittery for a while..lol. As I sit here I can see glitter flakes all over my tshirt...and I haven't even touched it today..lol. It's in the air.

Jeffrey is feeling very sorry for himself today. He has been visiting Sparkles garden and just because he is so nosey..he has ended up upsetting the two magpies that nest there. He limped home this morning, hanging his head. He has been well and truly pecked. Out had to come the TCP and now no-one wants to sit by him. It has all come as a big shock to him and at the moment he is sat on the parlour floor..feeling ever so sore. He will just have to learn not to be so nosey..lol...if he doesn't he going to end up with a head like a colander. I've heard of being hen pecked but not magpie pecked. Only Jeffrey..lol

Well the coffee is calling and then it will be time to go down and sort out dinner. We are having fried chicken, potatoes (oven baked with cream and stock) and vegetables. I'm really looking forward to it. I use panko to coat the chicken..it makes such a difference to the crunch. So until tomorrow..take care and happy crafting.

Jiggery Makery..presenting Rose

Todays card is a design team make for the fabulous Jiggery Makery. I just LOVE this image of the young lady called Rose. As most of you will know by now, I just love working with these designs of Adeles ...the very talented owner of Jiggery Makery. There is something magical that happens with her designs...a certain something that these ladies have, that leaves your options for use wide open. If you get the hance to pop over to the blog or the facebook page..check out the designs of the other members of the design team. We all get to work with the same image but the makes are so different. They are all very talented and provide lots of different styles of inspiration. As I was working with Rose this week, I thought she had the look of a young Marilyn Monroe but fought the urge to make her brown haired or blonde. There is something so happy about Rose..she can't help but to make you smile. A great image for birthdays...for male or female..just find the words suitable for the occasion.
All the Jiggery Makery ladies are available to buy as a digi..it's a chance to get some wonderful creations in your digi library, so that you have them to hand.

I know that I have been absent this week, but I have been trying to get myself organised, ready for the next six months of crafting. It's been something that I've been thinking of doing for a while..I just had to have the head space to do it. And I thought that now would be a perfect time...with the inquest approaching. It just means that leading up to and after the inquest..I will be able to craft without having to think too hard..I will just have to look at my calender and notes and do the work. And it does mean that I can do a little extra work and get ahead..so easing the pressure that I can put on myself. Well that's the plan. I've still got to organise down the side of my chair...the official black hole of crafting..lol. I intend to tackle that before dinner tonight.

All the animals except Sprout are fine. Poor Sprout is limping again. It's not a leg problem but a claw problem. Despite trying to keep him in..he got out and decided to take on Hobo again and has pulled one of his claws out. It's all very tender but bless him , he let me clean it all and he is definitely getting better ...thank goodness. He does appreciate the fact though that if you are a poorly cat you get priority access to the top of the bed. In fact he's there before me..waiting patiently for some human fuss.

Well the coffee is calling and then I will be able to admire the carpets. Virgo man is here as I write, hoovering for me. He does the hoovering and puts the rubbish out for me..it is a great help. I'm having so much bother with my good leg...it make some things really hard. But it can only get better...lol. Now,after all this organisation I should be back on track...so until tomorrow...take care and happy crafting.

JB-Crafting Supplies....Make a Wish

Todays card is a design team make for the wonderful JB-Crafting Supplies. I have been lucky enough to be able to work with a delightful paper pad from The Wild Rose Studio called Cherry Cupcake. On this card, I have used the paper as a backing paper and then used a stamp from my stash to make the butterfly. I coloured the butterfly with my promarkers. I added it to the card and made a trail of black pearls, leading to the greeting. Julie over at JB-Crafting supplies is the most helpful person should you be after a certain crafting item. She has an amazing selection and the shop is a real Aladdin's cave of crafting goodies. The shop also has some really fabulous material and wool in stock. Why not pop over for a look.
What a weekend I had. My legs have given me so much grief..Saturday found me in bed in the afternoon. The main trouble seems to be with my 'good' leg. After all these years of being the good leg, it has decided that it wants to be bad as well...lol. And while I was asleep Reg the super guard dog did his job...or so I thought. It turned out that his dog walker came round and Reg let him in, went for his walk, came back and let everyone have treats and then saw him out...so much for the guard dog..lol.
As I sit here..would you believe it...it's just started hailing. Yes as a special treat here in the mountains...it's May and we have an inch of hail. Only here...lol.Most of the cats have decided not to face the hail and have all added to the chaos  by climbing into the cupboard and knocking everything out...at least Virgo has arrived and he has offered to put it back. Good Luck with that I think..lol
Well the coffee is calling and Sparkle has also arrived...so I'll keep my fingers crossed that the caffeine is coming. So until tomorrow...take care and happy crafting

Jiggery Makery...presents Gloria

Todays card is a design team make for the fabulous Jiggery Makery. I just love the work of Adele, the owner of Jiggery Makery. Todays digi is called Gloria and that is just what she is...Glorious. To me she looks so full of fun and ready for anything...especially the next party. Goodness knows I wish I could get my legs up like she has. It reminded of being a child and in pt we always ended up getting into this position in riding a bike..as Miss Thraves..our pt instructor always called it. I can hear her now...come on girls..pedal faster...lol To what use this was ever going to be to us in later years...I am still waiting to find out. So now everytime I will see Gloria..she is going to make me smile and remind me that there's still lots to come in life and we should always be ready for that next party...and always ready to pedal faster.

It's a lovely day today here in the mountains and my friend Dotty is coming for a visit. I'm so excited...hopefully she will have lots of new pictures of Merlin. He is just so cute.I'm all ready for the weekend...have a pile of work to do and I've booked the Triathlon on the television...a perfect start to the weekend for me.And I'm actually looking forward to it. Sad, I know but I just love having piles of work ready to work on...I like to flick from one thing to another. One of my friends has gone to pick me up some canvases, as I'm hoping to begin one this weekend. My friend Sparkle has promised me some wire  so that I can make an armature..so expect lots of fiddling around as I begin. Crafting really is a joy to me and has made my life bearable since losing Henry. It gives me a space... a space away from the memories and upset. A space just to get my head a little more together.

Well the coffee is calling and a caffeine hit is definitely needed. For some reason all the cats are asleep..and quiet...which is very strange...it makes me wonder what on earth they are planning..lol. Mind you they could just be all worn out, because Twinkle has not shut up all night. Just thank youe lucky stars that we are not the same...the world would be a very noisy place..lol. So until tomorrow..take care and happy crafting

Gruffies and Guests...Singing in the rain

Todays card is a design team make for the wonderful Gruffies and Guests. It's the halfway reminder for the current challenge...use a die cut. This cute image is from the House Mouse decoupage cdrom and just made me smile. And lets be honest...living here in the mountains you have to learn to be happy in the rain...lol. I mounted the backing paper onto some gold mirri and created a small border with the same. The image itself has been decoupaged.I added some diecut leaves, which I coloured with my promarkers. I then added some small sequin flowers.

The sponsors for this months challenge is the fabulous team over at Dis Digi Stamps. Why not pop over to the challenge blog and check the great prize out.

Well as the card inspires...I am singing in the rain here today...lol. And I have to say I'd have to sing very loudly to beat Twinkle..who is on heat and telling the world at top voice that she would like a boyfriend. It makes me laugh because she shares the house with 4 boys and yet she scares them half to death...lol. She would be a right bunny boiler if she were human. And talking of the boys..here is Nicademus..

Henry loved Nic and it is hard to think that he is now 11 years old. He arrived as a kitten and he is half Bengal. He used to go swimming in the river with Henry...I will have to find the pictures to share with you all.We had never had a cat that would go near the river until Nicademus arrived. Henry was so surprised when Nic arrived in the river, joining Henry and his friends...lol. In the world of cats Nic must be a very good looking boy...all the girls adore him, but his special friend is of course Obie. You see one of them and the other is only seconds away.As I write, they are both curled up in the airing cupboard...lying nicely on all my clean washing..lol.

Well the coffee is calling and then it's back to work for me. I've lots of printing to do, so I'd better get my head together and plan my next lot of work. So until tomorrow...take care and happy crafting.

Decoupage Delights....Fancy Floral

Todays cards are design team makes for the wonderful company of Decoupage Delights. For today I have decided to share some of the cards that I have made using their wonderful cdrom...Fancy Floral. I use this cd so much, not just for cards but also for the flowers themselves as an embellishment for other cards. The roses especially, I have used as a part of a vintage card.

The card above is a lovely image to use as a card just to say hello. With all the stuff that I now do online, sometimes it's just so nice to send a card. To get something that isn't a bill is a nice surprise for anyone.

And I had to share this card that features these wonderful daffodils. I think that this would make a great Easter card or a card to send a welsh friend on Saint Davids Day. There is an offer on this cd (download of the same), over at the Decoupage Delights facebook page..why not pop over and take a look.

Now is the time to introduce you to another of the family..below is a picture of Sprout. When he arrived he was just so scared of everything and to see him now..it's a wonder. He is so full of himself now..and struts around the house as if he's top cat..despite all the girl cats telling him differently..lol. The girls are definitely the bosses in this house. Raven leads the pack and is always at my side. At any sign of bother Raven, Tankie and Milky are all there..lol. It always makes me smile when they are in a group..they are absolute nutters when they get going. As I'm cooking dinner they all run round and round the table chasing each other. There is never a quiet moment with this tribe..lol. I do have to say that they are a blessing..they make me smile every day.

Well the coffee is calling and then I still have to work out my work for the next week. It seems so strange today to look out of the window...the sky is blue and the sun is shining..it seems a miracle after the weather we have had..lol. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it stays this way for a while. So until tomorrow...BT willing..take care and happy crafting.

JB-Crafting Supplies...Flying Frog

Todays card is a design team make for the fabulous JB-Crafting Supplies. I have been lucky enough to get to work with another Nellie Snellen stamp...this one is called Flying Frog. The background papers are from a paper stack by the Wild Rose Studio called Cherry Cupcake. I stamped the image using a memento inkpad and then coloured it using my promarkers. I then glittered the wings of the frog and the fairy and little areas around.I used a diecut ivy swirl and some diecut flowers, which I coloured to match. I also added some peeloff dragonflies. All the products that I have used are available from Julie over at JB-Crafting Supplies.

I have to say that the cats are driving me mad today..lol. I am playing cat round about all by myself. If Tankie has lapped my head once...she's done it 40 times. It seems to be a competition between her and Obie who can drive me crazy first. They are all sulking at me because I've taken the electric blanket off the bed until next Autumn. After all I don't want to go soft in my old age..lol.

I have been thinking today, just how lucky I am to work in the crafting world. Yes I'm on a number of design teams but each is so different with what I create and I really get to stretch my creativity in lots of different ways. And I have to say that I get to work with an amazing amount of super talented crafters...what more could a woman want. I am a great believer in counting your blessings and this has to be one...I also say that my cats are another..but you have to wonder when they're flying round your head....lol.

Well the cffee is calling and then I need to look at the work for the rest of the week. I've always been a list maker and I still find it the way to go. I'll make the list of cards and projects that have been ordered and then I'll just work my way through them...cat willing of course. Oh and I had some good BT news..I complained about the service and I got a discount..lol. The lady on the phone couldn't believe how slow our speed was and gave me a discount. Mind you I did moan like a fool..so she was probably just glad to be rid of me,...lol. Anyways..until tomorrow...take care and happy crafting

Jiggery Makery.. presents Grace

Today's card should have been yesterdays but BT wouldn't let it happen. They are currently renewing cables in the village...without I would like to say letting anyone know and consequently I've been unable to blog. Anyway..to get to the important thing..please let me present Grace..a new digi from the very talented Adele over at Jiggery Makery. I just love working with Adele's fabulous digis because they always make stand out cards and projects. I do think that maybe I have a real love for the colour green..lol. There is always something so vibrant about it and I nearly always do a red head...my Henry always loved red hair. For this card, as I was sitting here last week..with the rain pouring down and the wind raging, I thought surely we are due some nice weather and I thought that Grace would be perfect to give us all some hope for a good summer. I have matted and layered some summery paper onto a flower shaped card. I coloured Grace with my promarkers and then cut her out to place her at the bottom of the card. She certainly makes me hope for a little sunshine.

What a week it's been..with the bad weather and the joys of BT. Today in the mountains, all I can say is it's dry..lol. I finally managed to sort my shelves out..a little organisation can go a long way. I've managed to sort all my inspiration books out and to put all my canvasses and items to craft on in one area..so if I ever have a bright idea..all my possible project items are together. I also started an art journal and a quote journal. The reason for the quote journal is that many times, whether on facebook, the tv or in reading a book...I come across a quote which I know would be great to use on a piece of artwork.or a card..so rather than forget them or put them on a scrap of paper..I now have a dedicated book. The only place that I've still to do is by the side of my chair which has become a dumping ground and has always seemed to be..lol. So now you can nearly see all the couch. My friend the pa said that it had definitely improved..at least she can sit on the couch now..lol. Still more to do...but at least I've made a dent.

Well the coffee is calling and I've got plans to make 2 birthday cards for some friends. I've got plans for Sunday dinner tomorrow. I'm going to do roast Gammon with cauliflower cheese and roast potatoes and green beans. For tonight..I don't know..perhaps chips with something but as it stands..I'm looking for some inspiration. So BT willing..until tomorrow take care and happy crafting.

Decoupage Delights...Vintage Lady

Todays card is a design team make for the wonderful company of Decoupage Delights. As most of you know, they are producing a wonderful new cdrom...Vintage Fashion. This card is made using one of the images that will appear on the new cd. This is one of the 8x8 cards..everything is included on the sheet that you print out. For this week, I have chosen to make the card exactly as it is printed. The decoupage is amazing and nice and easy to cut. Sometimes there is nothing nicer than to sit of an evening and to cut out some decoupage...I find it so relaxing and just lately that's something that I need.

What a night it was here in the mountains..the rain lashed and the wind raged..it was quite scary. At least I had the cats for comfort. At the moment Jeffrey is driving me to distraction ...he is trying to fight Hobo. through the window. There is a  double layer of glass between them..but they are taking no notice of it. They are both slapping the glass and yowling. What makes me smile is the fact that Hobo is determined to be one of my house cats. I wouldn't mind but I'm not feeding him. He is being fed by a lady at the bottom of the village. She feeds him twice a day but he won't let her touch him.Me, I'm not feeding him and he just wants to come through the window and sit on my lap..lol. When he is having trouble, he always comes to me. I clean his wounds and he makes a right fuss of me. There is nothing stranger than a determined cat.

Well the coffee is calling and then it will be down to doing some sorting.I'm still looking at the shelves and deciding how I will arrange them. Then it will be time to go down and cook the dinner. Tonight is an old fashioned dinner...liver and onions with mashed potatoes and green cabbage. It seems an age since I cooked this meal...it was one of Henrys favourites.and we used to have it every couple of weeks. It certainly is the right weather for it. You don't hear about it being cooked these days..I grew up with it as it was such a cheap meal...but I never thought of it as cheap...just really tasty. So until tomorrow...take care and happy crafting.

JB-Crafting Supplies..The Frog and the Flower

Todays card is a design team make for the wonderful JB-Crafting Supplies. I was lucky enough to get to work with this lovely stamp from the Nellie Snellen stamp range. This one is called 'Frog on Flower'. I have never used this range before and have to say that they are fabulous to work with. The stamp is really easy to use and the stamped line is just so detailed and fine. I decided to go withthe theme of black and red.I mounted the backing papers onto black card and added some peeloff daisies to embellish the card. Onto the daisies I added these wonderful jewels. I just love the bling that they add. The stamps and jewels are all available to buy from Julie ,over at JB-Crafting Supplies...why not pop over and take a look at all the wonderful goodies that she has...also she is a wonderful source of sewing goodies. It truly is an Aladdin's cave of crafting joy.
I feel so honoured to be actually able to blog today. BT are driving me up the wall. It seems as if the whole village is on and off..the lights on my hub are flashing more than the lights of Blackpool. Yesterday it just wouldn't have it at all. After trying for 5 hours..I just gave up. Tomorrow I have every intention of ringing them...I may have to take a tablet first..lol. But it can't go on like this.
It's truly been bank holiday weather here in the mountains..rain, wind and even hail have bombarded us. Last night the wind raged and it even managed to scare the cats. They all came on the bed and stared at the roof. Bless them. Jeffrey and Hobo have been at it all day...thank goodness they have stopped fighting but now they both sit facing each other on the studio...yowling their heads off. Noisy just isn't the word for it..lol
Well the coffee is calling and a good dose of caffeine is definitely needed. Sparkle has been trying to unblock the bathroom sink. It has been blocked for a while..has had 2 good doses of plughole unblocker, boiling water and a thing that is supposed to grab anything that is down there,....and nothing. Bless him he's tried so hard but he hasn't given up...the big plunger is due to come out now...goodness only knows what the problem is. If in doubt blame Jeffrey...lol. Between him and Reg they are currently costing me a fortune...with broken phones, broken wires, broken telephone wires and a broken tv connection..there seems to be no end to their destruction. But you just have to love them..lol. So until tomorrow...take care and happy crafting

Crafting Musketeers...New Challenge..Use a diecut

Here I am..back again. Todays second card is another design team make. This time it's for the fabulous Crafting Musketeers. A new challenge has begun with the theme as well of use a diecut. This months challenge is lucky enough to have 2 sponsors..Hobby House and JDG Crafts. Both wonderful companies working in our favourite area..crafting.Why not pop over to the challenge blog and join in the fun alongside us all at the Crafting Musketeers.

For my card, I have chosen to use the wonderful Hollypond Hill cdrom brought to us by Joanna Sheen. I chose this happy image of a bunny and have mounted both the image and the backing paper onto some pink holographic, also creating a border with the same. To create the full border I have added some die cut ivy leaves, which I have coloured with my promarkers. I then added some pale and bright pink jewelled flowers.

What a day today...Dotty arrived in the pouring rain..bless her. It was fabulous to catch up with all the news. And of course I was dying to hear all the news of Merlin. And here he is..

Hasn't he grown. And most of his growth has gone into his fantastic ears. He is just so pretty...it will be amazing to watch his hair grow on his ears. In fact Dotty told me that he will grow long hair everywhere. Such a pretty little face with his cute little black nose. I have always had a thing for black noses. Hilly used to have one and I used to say that it was her saving grace. No matter what trouble she got into...she was always so cute with her little black nose..lol

It's raining as I said earlier and it's really cold. The cats are using me as a cat roundabout, as they decide whether to be in or out. Jeffrey and Sprout have been all night and have now come in..looking at me as if I should have waited up all night until they came in. I'm sorry to say that if they're not back in by 11p.m. it's a case of tough..you're out until 5 a.m. Hobo is trying very hard to come in..poor Sprout is suffering from a couple of bald spots after their last meeting.Pinkie is in the process of telling him to go away..or words to that effect...lol. Sometimes the girls are far more pushy than the boys. Hobo will hold his own until he's confronted by 3 of the girls and then he knows that retreat is the easiest option.

Well the coffee is definitely calling today. It has felt really hard work to post today..thanks to BT and their intermittent service. Here we pay the same as everyone else in the country, yet we don't even have a quarter of the speed. It says something when I in a wheelchair are quicker than BT..lol No matter what..a good dose of caffeine will help. So until tomorrow...take care and happy crafting

Gruffies and Guests..New Challenge...Use a die cut

Todays card is a design team make for the fabulous team over at The Gruffies and Guests Challenge Blog. The theme for this month is to use a die cut. As always for the challenge, you need to use a house mouse, happy hopper or a gruffie. This months challenge is sponsored by the great team over at Dis Digi Stamps and there is a wonderful prize up for grabs.
For my card I have used this cute image from the House Mouse Decoupage cdrom. I have mounted the image and the backing paper onto some sunshine yellow card. I also created a border with the same. I added some diecut ivy leaves, which I had coloured with my promarkers and some little purple/pink flowers from my stash. I added some pearls to the centers of each flower. I also diecut the large flower and coloured that to match. I used a button as the centre. Finally, I added a ribbon. The image was decoupaged. The thing that I love about any of the artwork of Ellen Jareckie is that it always makes you smile. You just can't help it.
For something different today, I will be back later with another design team make. My friend Dotty is also coming for a visit..so hopefully there will be some new pictures of Merlin. So until later...take care and happy crafting.

Jiggery Makery....Sailors mean fun

Todays cards are a design team make for the fantastic Jiggery Makery. Well they were..over a year ago. Adele asked me to work with this image again and I was so pleased because I have always loved it. And then I had a thought to look through my records and see what I did last time ...and here they were. I then thought to share them with you again because I like these as much as I did last time. I think this proves just how timeless Adeles designs are. They look as fresh today as they did a year ago and will do in the years to come. In the craft business, I see so many trends come and go and have to admit to not following the latest fashions. I love to work with classic images and to have these images in my library..so I know it's always to hand should an idea pop up. I know a lot of men who are really into sailing, pirate imagery and anything water related so this girl is fantastic to use for any of them.

Both of these images have been coloured with my copics. The anchors have been painted with my H2Os. The background paper is also designed by the ever talented Adele and I'm sure will be available to buy. It works so well with the naval theme, but would work so well with other crafting themes. If you get the chance..why not pop over to the Jiggery Makery page and take a look at all the wonderful designs.

I couldn't blog yesterday because of the wonderful BT. Since I got up yesterday the broad band was flashing on and off all day. It wouldn't let me load anything and if I had been within 20 foot of a BT executive he would have heard me complaining..lol. It always gets to the point where the computer is lucky that it's not thrown out of the biggest cat flap in the world.

I've had a bad today and I'm not feeling too good. I have now been given a date for the inquest and am trying to get my head together...it may take a while....but I'll get there.

Well the coffee is calling and I think a good dose of coffee will do me good. At least I know what I'm cooking tonight...it's going to be chicken curry and maybe chips. I will have to try and give a thought for what to cook over the weekend..something easy tomorrow and perhaps a Sunday dinner. When I've had a coffee perhaps my head will be clearer. So until tomorrow...take care and happy crafting.
