Coming down out of the freezing sky with its depths of light, like an angel, or a Buddha with wings, it was beautiful, and accurate, striking the snow and whatever was there with a force that left the imprint of the tips of its wings — five feet apart — and the grabbing thrust of its feet, and the indentation of what had been running through the white valleys of the snow — and then it rose, gracefully, and flew back to the frozen marshes to lurk there, like a little lighthouse, in the blue shadows — so I thought: maybe death isn’t darkness, after all, but so much light wrapping itself around us — as soft as feathers — that we are instantly weary of looking, and looking, and shut our eyes, not without amazement, and let ourselves be carried, as through the translucence of mica, to the river that is without the least dapple or shadow, that is nothing but light — scalding, aortal light — in which we are washed and washed out of our bones. Left of Center....Anything but Square

Todays creation is a design team make for the wonderful team over at Left of Center Creative Challenges. It is made using this design from Delicious Doodles. I have made this for a friend..just to remind her of my favourite sentiments..to never settle for anything less than butterflies. To me that is something that we should have in a relationship...and nothing less. Anew challenge has just begun and will run for the next week. The theme is Anything but Square..my nemesis..lol. And of course, you have the option of going LOC...just check out the blog and it will tell you the details.

The sponsor for this weeks challenge is Kirsty from KBJ and she has been kind enough to offer a fabulous skull stamp for the prize. It's a fabulous stamp and I'm so jealous that I can't enter myself..lol. Why not pop over and take a look at her blog..a truly wonderful source of inspiration.

The weather here is unbelievable. The mist is down and the wind and rain are raging. I had friends to visit and I felt so sorry for them. Even just trying to get in the door left them soaked to the skin. It was so lovely to see them and Jeffrey really enjoyed being made a fuss of..lol. He is such a fuss monster. And bless them..they were never left for a moment without a kitten around.

As I write they are all asleep...thank goodness. They have played hard all morning and have worn everyone out, including Reg. Little Gannet has a love thing going on with Reg and as I speak he is cuddled up asleep on Reg. Little Fiesty is asleep with her Mum and I have Michael and Nosey on my legs. I had a cat disaster yesterday..one to end all. As most of you know I have a cat with a brain problem and she lives in a duplex with her best friend Icabod..he is the only creature that she will tolerate. She really doesn't like anyone or anything and will attack anything..whether moving or not. Well she escaped yesterday and I was all day trying to catch her. She attacked everyone and spent a lot of time running up the wall. I had to finally give up and went to bed. I had to shut the parlour door to keep her in.I hope that she would go back in the pen at feed time..and she did. She has obviously worn herself out and is now back in the duplex cuddled up to Icabod. They are both really happy and I'm exhausted..lol. But I have a fair amount of work to do today and tomorrow and it's just as well looking at the weather.

Well the coffee is calling and I'm hoping that the kittens will sleep for a couple of hours. I'm trying to catch up on my work as yesterday the internet only worked for about 3 minutes. What a day it was with the kittens, Twinkle, no internet, the water going off and the weather. Life in the country ..lol. So until next time..take care and happy crafting.

JB-Crafting Supplies.....Christmas Thoughts

Today's card is a design team make for the wonderful company of JB-Crafting Supplies. This card was made using the wonderful paper pad featuring the art work of Margaret Tarrent, brought to us crafters by Joanna Sheen. I absolutely adore these images as they remind me of books that I loved as a child. And what a wonderful time to bring back memories of childhood days. This image of the girl cuddling the bunny is so evocative of days past.

I'm feeling worn out already today. The little kittens are driving me to distraction..lol. I cannot help but smile at their antics. Today, as soon as I put my legs up..they all invaded and settled down on my legs and all went to sleep. The only problem was Jeffrey...the poor boy. He had already settle down on my legs and then suddenly his space was invaded by 4 perky little kittens. Amazingly he let them all cuddle up on top of him and for half an hour peace reigned..lol. At the moment all the kittens have all cuddled up with Flossie..but I know that it won't last for long..within the hour it will be playtime again.

It is cold here in the mountains today. All the cats were shocked when we had snow at the weekend. I have never seen furry bodies come home as quickly as they did when the snow began. They have all found their own spaces in which to settle down..unfortunately Nicademus has decided that the airing cupboard is the best place in the world. And he's not for moving..lol

Well the coffee is calling and my need for caffeine is huge. I'm trying to think what to do for dinner this evening. We has a roast lamb dinner last night and I'm thinking that if there is enough left..I may make another. If there is not enough to do a dinner..I may make a meat and potato pie..it is a recipe of my Grandmother and it makes a little meat go a long way. And all my friends know that I specialise in spot the meat dinners..lol. So until next time...take care and happy crafting.

Left of Center....A New Challenge

Todays card is a design team make for the wonderful team over at Left of Center Creative Challenges. A new challenge has just begun and will run for the next week. The theme is to use a sentiment or of course you have the option og going LOC. All rules for that option are on the LOC blog. I hope that you will pop over and take a look at all the wonderful projects made by the other members of the design team. They are always a wonderful source of inspiration.

We are lucky this week to have been sponsored by the fantastic team over at AliciaBel. What a great range of digis they have available. I have chosen to work with Fanny Fantom and she just makes me smile. I have coloured her with my promarkers. I thought that the sentiment fitted the picture...so many times in life we seem to be bound by chains, either of our own making or by ones that other people put on us. If we can break our bonds, then we can hopefully be a lot happier. That's why this picture just makes me happy..she has broken the ties that bind and is making her own way forward.

I'm sure that as the kittens get bigger..I get more worn out..lol. As soon as they hear my voice, first thing in the morning...they all run to me, demanding to get attention. That's all lovely apart from the fact that I may be sat on the loo with the 4 little devils trying to climb my lags..lol. Then as I walk into the parlour, with one on each foot and 2 hanging from my skirt..I know that my day has begun. They are all now eating well..thank goodness. Bumble will only eat if he has a bowl of milk first..and you should hear the row he makes as he's waiting for me to open the milk. At the moment they are all asleep with their Mum. And I have such good news..Flossie their mum has been offered a new home. It's with a lovely lady that I've known since I moved to the village 25 years ago and I know that she will have a wonderful home and be spoilt rotten. I am so happy.

Well the coffee is calling and then it will be back to work for me. I've a long list for the weekend..on which is the job of sorting the couch out. As I work my boxes end up on the couch as they're finished with and there always comes a time that they all need to be tidied and put away. That time has arrived..lol. No doubt when I put them away,I will need something that is in one of them...it's always the way. I'm off to hit the caffeine...so until tomorrow..take care and happy crafting.

Decoupage Delights......Vintage Christmas

Todays card is a design team make for the wonderful company of Decoupage Delights. This card is made using their fabulous cdrom called Vintage Christmas. A great source of vintage Christmas cards. As you know I adore all things vintage, so this cdrom is a favourite of mine. I remember as a child that a lot of Christmas cards featured bells and this card reminds me of them. At that time in my childhood bells seemed to form the basis of alot more bells..in cards and decorations, than they do now. I suppose it's a reference to church bells ringing out. When I was younger a lot more people attended church and I'm always asked now to produce cards with churches on for people to give, because to them memories of church always mean Christmas to them. No matter how many cards are made..in new styles..Christmas to some people will always mean church, with the bells ringing out. Especially with things how they are now in the world, many people need to hang onto their memories of times past. And if I can make that a little easier for them..I will.

As I'm writing this, a little kitten called Nosey has just arrived on the keyboard..lol. He has just climbed his way up to me and rolled on his back to have his tummy tickled. The other three are running round and round the parlour and it looks as if a tornado has blown through. They were all ready for their breakfast and I feel as if I've walked a couple of miles rounding the little ones up. Fiesty the little girl took off this morning like a greyhound..heading to the bathroom. As you're trying to catch one of them, the others are heading in a different direction..lol.All I can say is that I'm worn out and it's only 3 o'clock..lol. But I know it's now coming to the time when they will all be going back to their Mum for a lie down. All of a sudden quiet will reign and you can look up and they've all returned to the pen and gone to sleep. It's a lovely hour..lol

Well the coffee is calling and I'm back to a list of work to do. The paints will be coming out this afternoon..goodness help me from little paws. I do hope that Pretty will be able to visit soon and help reign in the chaos..lol he is so used to rounding up furry little bodies at speed. The wind is raging round the valley..but at least it's not raining at the moment. It has been quite scary in the middle of the night..even the cats have been disturbed by all the noise. But as always I have to be grateful for the sturdy little cottage..grateful in the knowledge that it has withstood such storms for many many years. I'm off to hit the caffeine, so until tomorrow...take care and happy crafting

A Snowflakes Promise.....New Challenge

Todays card is a design team make for the fabulous team over at A Snowflakes Promise. A new challenge has just begun and will run for the next 2 weeks. As always the theme is a christmas or winter themed card.

For this challenge, we are lucky enough to have been sponsored by the wonderful team over at Bugaboo Stamps. There are a great amount of images that I would love to use..it was really hard picking one to work with. But as most of you know, I am a crazy cat lady..lol..so I just had to choose this one with the adorable cat.

For my card, I coloured the image with my promarkers and then mounted the image onto some red card. I mounted some christmas paper to some more of the red card and then added the topper. This card would be so perfect for a lot of my friends who are also cat mad and the good thing is that you can colour the cat to the same as theirs.

And while I'm talking of cats, I will update you on the little ones. I can now tell you in all honesty..they are all mad..lol. This morning as soon as my voice was heard, four tiny furry bodies ran to me. And I had to walk into the parlour with one one each foot and two others hanging onto my skirt. It took until 2 oclock for them to wear themselves out...by which time I was ready for a lie down myself..lol As I speak, they are all fast asleep with their Mum..but I know that within the next hour, they will be up and at it again. Reg has been so good with them and quite often can be found with 2 or 3 kittens curled up on him. They all play in his dog bed as well.

Well the coffee is really calling and then it will be time for starting dinner. It is my favourite dinner, which I have once every two weeks. It is fish, small potatoes and salad. I had a shopping delivery this morning...mostly cat related I have to say..and I love it when the salad is fresh. Thinking about it, I have come to the conclusion that I am a bit fish obsessed..I love it. I usually have fish 3 times a week in one form or another and I could have it every night and would be quite happy. Sometimes I do have to admit to having to hide my plate from the furry devils..lol.  I'm off to hit the kettle..so until tomorrow..take care and happy crafting.

Jiggery Makery.........Christmas Ladies

Todays makes are design team makes for the wonderful team over at Jiggery Makery. For today I went on a hunt and looked through previous cards that I have made for a Jiggery Makery Christmas. These ladies above and below are my favourites for lots of different reasons. The one above is my all time favourite Christmas makes and now lives in Southport with a customer of mine. She loved it when she first saw it on my blog and now it comes out at Christmas in her house. The lady tells me that her husband loves it too and is very good in parting with the kisses...lol

If you get the chance why not pop over to the Jiggery Makery page and take a look at all the wonderful designs. I love the glamour that Adele brings to her designs and I just adore deciding on what colours to do the outfits. I think that I have figure envy all the time with these designs..lol

I have to admit to being worn out today. I had a really bad night and when I did get up I arrived into the middle of kitten chaos..lol. As soon as I opened my mouth..all four furry terrorists charged at me..lol. I am having to get a man to block the stairs off as Nosey keeps going and thinking about going down..it's not going to happen. He keeps standing on the top step looking down and I can see the cogs rolling. I accept that I'm not good on my legs and the thought of chasing them all over the house is so not going to happen. They are now all eating and goodness me they go through it. My shopping order this week seems to be cat food with a bit of human food included..lol.

Well the coffee is calling and then it will be time to start the dinner. We are having lamb crumble tonight with mashed potatoes and cabbage. I just love cabbage...any sort, any way. In fact we had it last night with a Sunday dinner and it was so nice..I want it again..lol.I hope that the weather is being kind with you..it's just started to rain again here and the wind has been ferocious. As I always say..it's just a crafting day. So until tomorrow...take care and happy crafting.

Left of Center....A Little Sparkle

Todays creation is a design team make for the fabulous team over at Left of Center Creative Challenges. The theme for this weeks challenge is 'Sparkle'. If you don't feel as if you can do sparkle, you can of course go for a LOC theme. All details are on the challenge blog.

We are lucky enough to have been sponsored by the great team over at Shadow Clocksy. The dress that I have chosen to sparkle is one of their designs.

For my creation, I chose to go with my not so hidden love for glitter..lol. It gave me the chance to get all my glitters out..and goodness me I have a collection. I have to hold up my hand to 3 boxes of dry glitter and 2 boxes of wet glitter. That is without counting all my whites and clear glitters...which have their own box. And last night I went into the studio and found a small set of drawers which are all filled with glitter. Even I didn't realise just how many colours I had..lol.The last time Pretty was here he said he couldn't believe just how many colours I had...and that was without these drawers..lol. The way that I look at it...a girl has to have a little fun.

For my dress, I began by colouring it with shades of green and purple. I used my promarkers. I think that my not so hidden goth has arrived with my choice of colours..lol. I had so much fun with this image..and I can honestly say that I would wear this dress. And of course I do believe that everyone needs a little sparkle at Christmas.

Well the coffee is calling and then it will be time to deal with the kittens. As soon as they heard my voice this morning..out they all shot..meowing at me. As soon as I sat down, they all wanted to come on my knee. Nosey is still the bravest and the one with the most confidence and cheek..lol. Bumble the black loves to sit by you and talks away. Gannet is still the most into his food and Fiesty is still not having any of it. I did convince her to look at the milk but she had one lick and walked off in disgust..lol.She will do it when she's ready. The weather here is still a little violent..the wind and the hail has been quite vicious today. I hope that it is being kinder to you. So until next time..take care and happy crafting.

Decoupage Delights....Vintage Christmas

Here I am again with a design team make for the wonderful company of Decoupage Delights. This card is from their Vintage Christmas double cdrom. I just love the images on this cdrom and most of you know by now,,I have a passion for all things vintage...it could be because I'm of quite a vintage myself now..lol. I thought that I'd better get this card blogged now before we get to the 4.30 cut off point of BT. It has taken me all day to load the cards that I've made..my connection machine has been flashing like a disco light..red and orange with hardly a sign of the blue ready to go light.

At the moment, all is quiet..the kittens have managed to tire themselves out..thank goodness. I love them all to bits..but they are wearing me out..lol. They manage to do something naughty and then manage to look so cute at the same time. But as I've said..they are all asleep and peace is all around.

The parlour looks as if a bomb has hit. I have boxes of crafting goodies all over the place and the rest of the space is taken up with kitten blankets. Later on I will be on a mission to sort it all out and to put away everything that has been used. I want to do the bathroom later and put all the now clean cat blankets away. The major thing will be trying to get Nicademus to leave the airing cupboard..he has decided that because the water heater is on..it's the place to be. It annoys me to death because it isn't that long since I washed everything that was in there..and now the top layer is covered in Nicodemus fur..bless him..lol.

Well now I'm off for another coffee...some days I definitely need more caffeine than usual. Somedays I seem to be running on the coffee and it's only the thought of the next one that keeps me going..lol. The weather here has been unbelievable..I've lived here for over 25 years and I have seen areas flooded that have never been flooded before. One elderly lady who has lived in the village for all of her life has been flooded for the first time and has to have had sandbags up her doors because the drains just couldn't cope. Fields turned into lakes and people having to wade through water up past their knees. A serious amount of water has landed in a very short time. For me it's the perfect time to stay in and craft. And that's what I'm off to do. So until next time..take care and happy crafting.

JBCrafting Supplies...New Home card

Todays card is a design team make for JB Crafting Supplies. I have used stamps from Hobby Art..Townhouse Scenic set. I first created a small circle and coloured the top half to be the sky. I then stamped the houses, coloured them and cut them out. I added them to the sky and then created the front gardens. I have also added a small black cat. I'm using this card to welcome a family to the row of cottages where I live. I felt that I should let them know that the cats in the area are probably mine..lol. I've said if they have any problems with them..just to let me know. The chances are that it will probably be Jeffrey..lol.

And talking of trouble..last night Jeffrey arrived in my bedroom with a little friend. He came into the bedroom talking at me..and no wonder..by his side was little Nosey..who had obviously got out of the pen and thought he would follow the big boy. Tonight the naughty pen is coming out of storage. I need to know that they are all safe and at least I can have a peaceful night..lol. I am currently trying to wean them and the strangest things are going on. Fiesty will have none of it. None of the others will eat the kitten food but are determined to eat their Mothers food. If I try them with kitten food they just won't have it. They all want big boy food..lol. At least I get a bit of peace when they have full tummies.

Well the coffee is calling and I've a long list of work to do. If the kittens let me..lol. I'm going to make a list of all I need to do and just get my head down and get on with it. I'll be back later with another design team make...BT willing of course. So until then..take care and happy crafting.

Jiggery Makery....A Little Sparkle

This card is a design team make for the fabulous Jiggery Makery. As you know by now I just adore the fabulous glamorous ladies that Adele from Jiggery Makery draws. And here is a christmas pin up. If you get the chance why not pop over to the Jiggery Makery facebook page and take a look at all the other gorgeous ladies that are available. They make the perfect christmas cards for the gentlemen in your life..so much nicer than beer or football. For this card, I have coloured her with my promarkers and of course had to add the glitter....there is nothing better than a little sparkle for Christmas.

So here I am again...coffee in hand..having just having a cat disaster..lol. And of course it had to involve the Jeffrey. I had just sat down with my coffee when Jeffrey decided to make a dash for the window..realising half way through the leap that Pinkie (otherwise known as the grumpy one) was sat on the windowsill. If you have ever seen a cat trying to stop a leap midway through you will understand the chaos that happened. He jumped to the left and managed to take out my daylight lamp. Now it isn't working and he seems to have either broken it or at the very least the bulb. Either way it's a disaster to me..the bulb costs £25 and if I buy one and the lamps broken..that's another £140..oh the antics of these cats..lol.It will take a while for me to decide what to do about the lamp...and as for Jeffrey..he has been trying to cuddle up to me ever since..lol

The rain is coming down sideways..flowing in sheets across the valley. It is always a waste of time to use an umbrella here...the rain never comes down...it's always sideways..so you end up getting wetter under the umbrella than the umbrella itself. The mists keep coming and going and the wind is blowing harder and harder. As I look out of the window I can see that the front garden is now covered in leaves. Definitely a day for crafting.

Well I'm off for yet another coffee. Hopefully I can have this one without another disaster.....lol.I have an absolute pile of work..a lot of colouring...and the perfect weather to stay in and do it. I'm so lucky to work at doing what I love. I hope that the weather is being kind to you wherever you are and that you have a great weekend. Until next time..take care and happy crafting.

Gruffies and Guests....New Challenge

Todays cards are design team makes for the fabulous team over at Gruffies and Guests. A new challenge has just begun and has the theme 'Red and Green' or Anything goes. But as always please remember that your creation has to be featuring a Gruffie, Happy Hopper or House Mouse image...and you know that I love them all.

The other news Gruffie related that I have is that there is a DT call on at the moment. Why not come and join us on the team. All details are on the blog. I have seen many of your cards and know just how good they are...so why not apply.

.We are so lucky this month to have been sponsored by the great team over at Dis Digi Stamps. A great source of images.

Both of my cards are from the Gruffies and Guests cdrom brought to us by Joanna Sheen.

It's a horrible day here in the mountains today. All the cats have decided that inside is the best place to be is inside..lol. It seems today that I have more cats than I actually have..lol ..everywhere you look in the parlour there seems to be a cat. And of course..they all want to sit on me and help me blog. Nicademus likes nothing better than walking on the computer..lol..it makes for an interesting page. Jeffrey is stretched out on the couch and believe me there is no room for anyone else. I had a little shock this morning when I fed Flossie. I am intending to start weaning the kittens next week..which I might add is the right time to start...unless of course you are the dark tabby kitten. This morning as I put Flossies food into the pen..little dark tabby ran to the dish. Now this is the only kitten without a nickname as he is always asleep or feeding on Flossie. But this morning he is earning a nickname..and I think that it's going to be gannet. I have never seen in all my years of rescuing cats had a kitten head for the food without prompting. Even Flossie looked at him as much to say what on earth are you doing..lol. He really liked it though and he is now fast asleep.

Well the coffee is calling and then I will definitely be back. I had intended to blog another design team make last night ...but BT weren't playing...at all. I couldn't even get onto the internet/ And what makes me laugh is all the BT adverts saying how fast their internet is..well not here in rural Wales. So I'm heading to the caffeine and will be back soon. So until then..take care and happy crafting.

Left of Center......New Challenge

Todays canvas is a design team make for the great team over at Left of Center Creative Challenges. A new challenge has just begun..'Things with Wings'.

We are lucky enough to have been sponsored this week by the fabulous Moonflower Digi Stamps. There are some wonderful images...well worth a look.
And as always, if you don't want to go with the new theme..you can always enter using the LOC theme..all details are on the challenge blog. For some LOC makes, I have painted these 2 skulls. You may remember me starting them ages ago...but I finally managed to finish them. The skulls were cream colour and are money boxes that I picked up cheaply from Home and Bargain. I actually bought up all they had..lol..so expect some more in the future.

Well the coffee is calling and I shall be back later with more design team makes. It has been a busy day already, with visitors and cat work to be done. The kittens are especially bouncy today and I think Flossie needs a lie down. They are just beginning to run around and are trying to climb the pen...goodness help us all. I shall begin weaning next week..it usually means lots of gravy kisses and little kitten noses with cat food on. And then you also get the lets have a run round moments, when you discover just how many little places there are a kitten can get to..lol. So until later..take care and happy crafting

A Snowflakes Promise...Ringing in Christmas

Todays card is a design team make for A Snowflakes Promise Challenge Blog. This image features Reggie. I just had to use him because of his name and because I thought he was so cute. He has been coloured using my promarkers. Even though you can't see it on the photograph..I have used a glaze pen on the bell and on his boots.Over at the blog, a new challenge has begun, which will run for a fortnight and is the perfect place to enter your Christmas cards..after all the theme is Christmas/Winter creations. I do hope that you will join in the fun. If you get the chance...why not pop over and take a look.

We are lucky enough to have been sponsored by the wonderful team over at Lacy Sunshine. I can't even begin to tell you what a wonderful variety of images that are available.

It's quite chilly here in the mountains today. I have a blanket over my legs and no doubt later on Raven will be sat on my feet. She is a stubborn little thing and if I'm working on the computer, she will sit on my elbow until I lift the computer so that she can sit on my feet..lol. All the kittens are full of life this morning. When I first walked into the parlour they were all playing. They are quickly getting over the kitten wobbles and are now totally firm with their little tails straight up into the air. Fiesty is living up to her name and is just getting into running up and down the pen....bless her.
Well the coffee is calling and I'll be back later with another design team make. So until then..take care and happy crafting.

The Crafting Musketeers..........Anything but Square

Todays creation is a design team make for the great team of The Crafting Musketeers. A new challenge has just begun and will run for the next month. The theme for this coming month is 'Anything but Square'. I don't know why but I find this to be one of the hardest themes that I have to work with. And I don't know why..it's as if I have a mental block. It makes me laugh..because so many times I set out to make a card and don't even think about what shape it's going to be and yet when faced with a set shape that I can't use..I reach a full stop..lol For this challenge, I decided to make a wall hanging. I had a scalloped circle with forms the base and I inked that with a distress ink and added some stamped leaves using the same ink. I printed out the scroll and decoupaged it and then mounted it onto some gold mirri. The scroll is from the Just Ink Lined cdrom called The Next Big Thing. I added a gold bow and a ribbon hanger.

We are so lucky to have been sponsored for this challenge by the wonderful team over at JGD Crafts.

I hope that you will pop over and take a look at the challenge blog. The other members of the design team have produced some wonderful creations and I always find them a great source of inspiration.

It has been a very busy day today. The kittens were really up to no good today..lol. As I do every day I let Flossie out for a run before I feed her and today the kittens thought that they would come out as well..lol Just as I getting Flossies food into her dish..Fiesty and Nosey took off over the couch. Little tails were straight into the air and there was no sign of a kitten wobble..they were picking up speed. Goodness help me..it's not long until I start to introduce them to kitten food and then they will be running round the room. I can only hope that my friend Pretty will be along to help..lol The other little tabby is a rather lazy kitten...he is more interested in playing on his back and sleeping. Bumble is not for playing but rather like sitting at the pen door with his head on one side watching everything..lol. He is the most talkative of all the kittens and has a lot to say on everything.

Well the coffee is calling and I've some work to finish. It's a lovely day today here in the mountains. All I saw on the news last night was about the bad fog...but as always it seems that the only place they're interested in is London..a world away from here. So I'm off to brace myself for more kitten activity...they're all asleep now..worn out after their morning work out...but I know they'll be playing about later. So until next time...take care and happy crafting.

A Step In The Dark....Deadly Nightshade

Todays creation is a design team make for the fabulous team over at A Step in the Dark. A new challenge has just begun and will run for a month. It is a facebook challenge so why not pop over and take a look.

We are so lucky to have been sponsored by the wonderful team over at Delicious Doodles./

There are just so many images in the shop that I would love to work with and it's always so difficult to choose. The image that I have used is called Deadly Nightshade and I just had to do this one, which fits in so well with my love of all things Goth. I have coloured the image with my promarkers and have highlighted some little areas with a clear glaze pen. As most of you know, I do have a passion for strangely coloured hair, usually doing blue, green or purple. But for this one I decided to go pink to contrast the purple of the deadly nightshade flowers. I can remember them growing on the sides of the lane where I lived and being told repeatedly not to touch them by my Grandmother. It used to annoy me because the flowers are so beautiful..I just didn't understand how deadly they are.

Well the coffee is calling and the cats are wanting yet more food. The kittens are getting more and more nosey by the day. When I walk into the parlour in the morning they are all sat in a row watching me. Bumby is the noisiest and has a lot to say..lol. Nosey is still the one who pushes himself forward.
And here he is.....

I will try and get the others on to the blog in the next week. So until next time...take care and happy crafting.
